Tighe Logistics Group is proud to continue its support of The National Down Syndrome Society by sponsoring The 14^th Annual Buddy Walk and Family Picnic held on October 10, 2010 at Lake Quannapowitt in Wakefield, MA.

This year, over 3,000 walkers along with Senator Scott Brown participated and helped raise over $300,000 to help operate all of the MDSC sponsored programs including: Parents' First Call, the Educator's Forum, the annual MDSC Conference, and the Advocates in Motion (AIM) program for Teens and Young Adults with Down syndrome. A portion of funds raised also support the National Down Syndrome Society that originated the Buddy Walk.

"The Buddy Walk is a great event that our family has participated in for several years now" says John Tighe, Executive Vice President. "These are all great kids and the cause is one that is near and dear to us".
